Alonna Cross

Assistant Advisor

Who makes up your family?  Born and raised as a small-town country girl, I have always valued my community. My immediate family (my parents, my sister and her husband, and our family dog, Winston) are at the top of my mind when I hear the word “family”. However, I also have a close group of friends, several mentors, and coworkers that I consider to be family. I have such a wonderful support system; I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

What do you enjoy most about your work?  I enjoy meeting with clients and creating an everlasting relationship with them while providing professional services that serve in the client’s best interest. I also enjoy being in a position that encourages continuous growth and education, while working alongside other professionals that bring a lot of unique ideas and perspectives to the firm.

What expertise do you bring to clients?  Recently graduating and obtaining a degree in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, I have a strong foundation of a holistic approach to financial planning. I am eager to have conversations in all areas of the financial services Family Investment Center has to offer as I work towards obtaining my CFP designation.

What is your idea of serious freedom?  For me, serious freedom is planning accordingly and executing a financial plan early on that allows me to pursue my personal goals and desires that ensure confidence and comfortability for my future. It’s about being able to choose my path, rather than being forced due to financial circumstances.

Let’s plan for some serious freedom.
