Jennifer Riley

Administrative Assistant

Who Makes up your family? In the traditional sense, my family includes my two amazing teens and myself. My daughter is currently a Junior in High School, enrolled at Johnson County Community College. She is working to complete the Dual Degree Program offered there. My son is a Freshman this year, which is hard for me to wrap my head around. He is also now the tallest person in our house, which he loves.

Family to me, in a broader sense, is the community I have built for myself. I have amazing friends. Some of my closest friends I have had in my life since my teen years. Others I have been lucky enough to find along the way. Then there is my fabulously unique circus community, where I train in aerial arts.

What do I enjoy most about my work? I am newly back in the workforce. I am finding it very empowering and confidence building. I am a life-long learner and am enjoying the process of working with new programs and professionals. I am excited to see where the future goes from here.

What expertise do you bring to the clients? I hope what I bring to the clients is a welcome and friendly environment. I treat every person with the same grace and respect that I would hope to get in return.

What is my idea of serious freedom? Being your true self and living your best life. I think that we are quick to judge, as a society, but also of ourselves. Giving yourself the freedom to go against the grain to be and do what is best for you, is freedom.

Let’s plan for some serious freedom.
