Who makes up your family? My family consists of my wife, Allie, and our daughter Olivia Layne - who we welcomed into the world February 9, 2022.
What do you enjoy most about your work? I enjoy helping people make tough financial decisions and leading them to successfully achieving their financial goals. I also enjoy the constant challenge and ever-changing nature of our profession.
What expertise do you bring to clients? I have been working professionally in the financial planning field since 2020. In 2020, I completed my bachelor's degree in Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University, and later that year passed both the Series 65 securities and Kansas life insurance licensing exams. In 2021 and 2022, I passed a series of tests to become an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and passing another series of tests earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ accreditation. I am confident with my educational background in financial planning and tax, I can effectively provide holistic financial planning to the clients of Family Investment Center.
What is your idea of serious freedom? My idea of serious freedom is having both financial independence and physical independence. The ability to physically do what you want combined with being financially sound creates serious freedom in my opinion.
